They wandered to the desert
seeking solitude - to be
alone with the Alone.
Even there they had
to fight to find stillness.
The world followed
them to obtain their
pearl of great price.
Deeper and deeper into
the desert they fled,
always still just a few feet
away from the hungering hordes.
The price for solitude is high -
it is your life. The cost of
stillness is everything.
And then,
when you find it,
you must give it away;
it is never yours alone.
Piercing into the Heart
of God is a culinary
delight that is to be
shared around the
Table of Life.
There is no
secret eating.
The manna cannot
be stored in
earthen vessels for
more than just
that days'meals -
that days feasts.
