Inbetween Places
Can you find
a stillness in the
inbetween places,
the spaces where
two things just about
come together,
the amidness of
two mountains covered
in a river of journeying
time. There the
chaos must be turned
to dancing in order for
the mind to hold;
that the heart
may not lose hope.
Allow her to carry away
all that is not tectonic
and unmoved, every
valley raised up and
mountain laid low.
Stillness
amid the turning world.
