It Seems the Snow is Going
It seems the snow is going.
It is not.
It is changing.
The flakes are no longer
alone
by themselves
but melded into one.
They have
become water
that seeps into
the earth
falling
one drop
at a time
from the ice
hanging
on the corners of my home.
They have not left.
They are here
only different,
only new,
waiting to be
birthed again
from the clouds that
call them home.
Today.
Tomorrow.
Again.
